Please take the time to read through the Event Info page to ensure you get everything you can out of one of the most amazing nights of the year. It’s going to be epic!

HQ Zone: Start/Finish Line

Up All Night HQ Zone at the Busselton Foreshore

Start location on Google Maps

What to expect on the night?

Busselton walkers will be sent event details by email Thursday 29 February.

Here is a schedule of what to expect before and after your walk.

Before the walk

Please arrive promptly. We suggest arriving with enough time to meet up with your fellow walkers and teammates to soak up the atmosphere and enjoy the countdown to your walk. If your organisation has provided a banner, it will be located near the start/finish line so you can easily find your workmates!

There will be a DJ playing tunes to get you excited and pumped up for the walk ahead!!

If you still need to collect your pack, you can collect it from the Cape Naturaliste Boardroom of the Hilton Garden Inn Busselton between 9am-5pm on the event day.

After the walk

You’ll be greeted with lots of cheers at the finish line! What an amazing achievement!

Kick back and relax after walking or rolling over the finish line with your fellow walkers! Fresh fruit, snacks and coffee will be available for all walkers, as well as plenty of water.

What is the start time?

5:30pm - Start Zone Opens

6:00pm - Let the walking begin!

What's the best way to get to the start/finish line? And is there parking?

We recommend participants and volunteers taking public transport into the city, use a taxi or rideshare service, or see if a friend or family member can drop you off at the starting point!

For safety reasons, we don't recommend you drive home after completing your Up All Night walk.

Parking

If you do need to drive and leave your car in the city during the event, we recommend you use one of the parking areas marked on this City of Busselton parking map:

What items should I bring on the night?

We suggest bringing a “waist bag” with you to carry the essentials:

  • ID, bank card & Medicare card
  • Light jacket / jumper to keep you warm while you may be stationary at times
  • Phone + portable power bank phone charger
  • Lip balm
  • Water bottle
  • Sunglasses (for in the morning)

Our pit stops will provide you with lights snacks and water-refills plus a few surprises along the way. However, if you do have particular dietary requirements, we recommend you bring your own food to get you through.

Will there be an area to store some items at the start/finish line?

There will not be any storage facilities at the start/finish line or pit stops. We encourage you to pack light for the walk, so you don’t have anything heavy weighing you down!

How long will it take to walk the course?

How long it takes to complete the Up All Night course will really depend on your walking pace. Most teams aim for a 10-hour completion time.

Can my friends and family come to the starting line/finish line?

Absolutely! We highly encourage friends and family to come down to the HQ Zone to cheer you off and/or welcome you back when you cross that finish line.
