I’m walking 42km for sick kids and their families

Australia Day Spanner! :)

Hello All, so yesterday I did my first 16km.  Took a while but I got there.  They closed the Narrows Bridge for Aus Day so I ended up doubling back on myself and doing a couple of circles! :)
Thanks again to all your amazing folk who have sponsored me.  Every donation makes a difference to a sick kid and their families.  You guys are great.

Long walk number 2. Hot hot hot!

So did my second "long" walk on Saturday morning.  I left at 5.50am and it was already 27.  So hot!  My Irish blood is not able for it :)  Went well though, and took the attached red face selfie for you all to enjoy!  hahaha :)  Thanks again to everyone who has already donated.  I really appreciate it

Prep has begun!

Been walking lots the last few weeks. Did my first “long” walk today. 10km only but it’s a start!  Don’t forget to donate please. It’s a great cause and even the smallest donations helps these sick kids and their amazing families ? thanks all x

New Runners

So I have treated myself to a new pair of kicks!  Not necessarily for the walk, but definitely to inspire me :)  I have been walking every day but I've a long way to go before I am ready for the marathon.  Wish me luck!!

I'll be Up All Night for sick kids

I’m taking part in Up All Night to raise funds for Ronald McDonald House Charities Western Australia (RMHC WA). Walking in an overnight marathon isn’t going to be easy, but it’s nothing compared to being the parent of a sick child.

Every day, families from across WA come to Perth so that their child can receive essential medical treatment. Ronald McDonald House is their Home Away From Home during the most difficult time of their lives. 

I’m stepping up to show the families at Ronald McDonald House that they aren’t alone.
