I'm staying Up All Night for WA families with sick kids

This March, I’m taking part in Up All Night by walking through the night to help provide a home away from home and vital services for WA families with seriously ill children.

Ronald McDonald House Charities, with the support of Barminco, gave my family incredible support during one of the toughest times of our lives. When my two-year-old daughter, Everleigh, was rushed to Perth Children’s Hospital with symptoms of lethargy, fever, and paralysis, we faced endless sleepless nights filled with tests, surgeries, treatments, and constant worry.

Throughout that ordeal, RMHC was our lifeline. The Family Room on Fun on Four became a safe space where we could escape the stress of the hospital ward. Everleigh could enjoy arts and crafts, play with toys, and get fresh air outdoors. These are the moments that gave us strength and hope. Knowing we had a supportive community behind us allowed us to focus on what mattered most: her recovery.

Joining the Up All Night Walk is my way of giving back and ensuring other families receive the same incredible support we did. Every step I take helps families stay close to their sick children and provides comfort during their hardest times.

For families who must travel far from home for specialist care, sleepless nights are part of the reality. By walking a night in their shoes, I can help make those nights a little easier.

The funds I raise will help provide accommodation, stability, and support for families who just want to spend loving time together during the hardest days of their lives.

Could you make a generous donation to help Ronald McDonald House WA continue supporting families with sick kids — 24/7, 365 days a year?

Thank you for making a difference in the lives of WA families through your kindness!
