Healthengine is walking 42km for the Families Who Travel Thousands
This March, I’m joining the Healthengine Team for Up All Night, walking 42km overnight to support regional WA families who are going through every parent's worst nightmare.
For families in Western Australia, getting specialist care for a sick child means more than just an appointment—it means traveling hundreds, sometimes thousands of miles to Perth. Being far from home adds an enormous burden of stress, isolation, and cost. When your child is fighting for their health, the last thing you should have to worry about is where you’ll sleep or how you’ll afford your next meal.
By walking 42km in one night, I’m standing (and walking!) in solidarity with these families. The funds I raise go directly to Ronald McDonald House WA to provide:
A "Home Away from Home": Safe, supported accommodation just minutes from the hospital.
Meals: Home-cooked food so parents can stay fueled without the financial strain.
Essential Services: Stability and a community of people who understand exactly what they are going through.
Thank you for making a world of difference for our WA families!
